This workshop is all about lavender. This wonderful plant immediately evokes the senses, warm sunny days, wafting scent, bees and butterflies. We will begin with a walk around our lavender borders and point out the various varieties grown at our flower farm and discuss the myriad of lavender uses. After harvesting, we will light up one of our beautiful copper stills and show you how to produce lavender hydrosol and oil which you can then use to make your own sleep spray and scented plaster diffuser. You will also have the opportunity to make a hand tied lavender posy or lavender wreath if you prefer. There will be plenty of time to relax in the beautiful floral surroundings and take in the calming effects for which lavender is so well known. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. The flower farm is on an exposed site and the ground can be uneven and muddy in places. We are working towards being fully accessible but at the moment we cannot accommodate people who use wheelchairs or children in buggies. If you would like any further information please get in touch.

Cancellation Policy
Amendments to bookings and cancellations may be made up to 14 days prior to the date of the workshop by emailing info@wychwoodgardens.com If you find you are unable to attend a workshop less than 14 days before the date of the workshop you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Fees will not be refunded for any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the date of the workshop. If through unavoidable circumstances a course must be cancelled by Wychwood Gardens, all course fees will be refunded in full. We regret we cannot refund any other (eg travel or accommodation) costs you may have incurred. Flowers and materials may vary from those shown in images and are subject to availability. Please notify us of any allergies or medical conditions in advance. All information will be treated in confidence. Wychwood Gardens is not liable for any accident, injury or allergic reaction which was caused by anything other than our deliberate fault or negligence, or for loss or damage to your personal property while at the workshop venue.
